Dr. Stecher brings over 20 years of medical experience to the development of Lono’s device. After graduating from the University of Washington, Dr. Stecher went on to become an oral maxillofacial surgeon until 1991, when he began training in anesthesiology at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, TX. Today, Dr. Stecher continues his 13 years as an obstetric anesthesiologist at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas.

Dr. Stecher consults at the Baylor Institute of Research, where genetic, immunologic, and medical device research is actively pursued. He serves Lono as liaison both to the Institutional Review Board at Baylor University Medical Center and to the FDA. Dr. Stecher is the managing partner of OBA, a single-specialty anesthesia group generating over $10 million dollars a year in revenue.
